Wild Sage Creative is a woman-owned creative agency in the Eastern Sierra, focused on one mission: strengthening the local economy by amplifying artists and makers.
Founded in 2021 by Dani Guthrie—a photographer, printmaker, and community organizer—Wild Sage Creative operates at the intersection of art, music, and marketplace coordination. We don't just provide services; we build infrastructure that helps creative work thrive in Mammoth Lakes and Bishop.
Before moving to the Eastern Sierra in 2018, Dani spent years documenting urban landscapes and underground music scenes in Seattle. She saw firsthand how creative communities could shape a place's identity—and how easily those communities could be priced out or overlooked. In Mammoth Lakes, she noticed something: tourism was booming, but local artists struggled to reach visitors. Makers had incredible work but limited venues. Musicians passed through town without connecting to the community. The infrastructure to support a creative economy simply didn't exist.
So she built it.
Wild Together Market launched as a monthly gathering of local artisans—handmade goods, small-batch food, live music, all in one place. It became the answer to "where can I find local art?" and grew into a cornerstone community event. Rambling Peaks Festival followed, bringing folk and western music to Bishop for four years. Wild Folk Thrift opened to provide curated secondhand fashion while fighting fast fashion. Art curation projects placed local work in hotels and breweries across the region. Each venture had the same goal: put local community back at the center of tourism.

Main Brand: Client Services & Art Curation
Art curation for venues like Outbound Mammoth Hotel and Mountain Rambler Brewery. Brand, product + lifestyle photography for Eastern Sierra businesses. Social media and marketing strategy. Creative consulting. Artist residency programs. Every project prioritizes local artists and authentic community connection.
Music: Booking & Festival Production
Artist management and tour coordination. Music booking for regional venues. Festival production and coordination. We've organized multi-day festivals, coordinated dozens of shows, and built relationships with artists who return year after year because they know we take care of them.
Art & Markets: Community Building
Wild Together Market showcases 25-50 local vendors at their events multiple times a year. Wild Folk Thrift offers sustainable fashion for mountain women. The Eastside Winter Bazaar brings makers together for holiday shopping. These aren't just events—they're economic engines that keep money circulating locally.
