For almost a decade, the Eastern Sierra has dipped its toes in Americana and Bluegrass. It’s out there — but it’s hard to find when you actually want it. Tucked away in a corner, or way up on a festival stage with a price tag to match.
Nothing regular. Nothing built for the music itself — until now.
My dream has been to bring more strings to the Sierra, and that’s exactly what we’re damn gonna do. Deliciously talented regional musicians, getting heard, on a stage that’s finally ours.
Introducing Eastside Hootenanny: the first monthly Americana-music gathering on the Eastside, out on the lawn at Outbound Mammoth Hotel. Live regional bands, a makers market by Wild Together Market, and a mystery rabble-rousin’ every time. Free, all summer, and just the beginning.
We’re kicking it off big — Sunday, June 28 · 4–8pm with Bar Jay Bar & the Family Band @barjaybar and opener Randolph Hudson @randolphwhudson from Bishop!
Bring your people. Bring a blanket. This one’s ours 🪕
